When he first wakes up I spend time petting him for about 15 minutes. He's so funny. He acts soooooo tired despite getting 10 hours of sleep. And he yawns exactly 7 times in a row when he wakes. I wonder if all dogs do that. But at a moment's notice- like when I stand or there is a distraction he can jump 10 feet (OK maybe 2) in the air and sprint a mile without a 2nd thought. They always amaze me how they can go from being totally sedate and lazy to Tigger the tiger's on a pot of coffee.
